Being part of Big Beards marketing team, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Human Better & Build Faster event hosted by Big Beard Web Solutions in partnership with Amazon Web Services. To be honest, I’m still processing how amazing the whole experience was because… wow!
Walking into the event, I felt a mix of excitement and nerves. You could tell right away that this wasn’t just another corporate gathering, the energy was different. The beautiful AWS venue, with its inspiring views, set the perfect tone for an unforgettable day.
Everything was planned to perfection. From the moment guests arrived, you could see how relaxed and welcomed everyone felt. The smiles, the laughter, the warm greetings. It was clear that so much thought and care had gone into making sure everyone felt at home. The food, the drinks and every detail reflected the hard work and creativity of the amazing Big Beard Web Solutions team, especially Jamie Leigh Govender and Naomi Ncube.
What stood out most to me was how engaged the attendees were. Everyone was genuinely excited to be there networking, chatting, filming TikToks, and asking great questions during the presentation. You could feel that spark of curiosity and collaboration in the air.
Even though it was my first time attending such a big event, I never once felt out of place. The atmosphere was so open and encouraging that it felt like being part of one big creative family.
The highlight of the day was the official launch of Swiftbuilder ai, Big Beard’s latest innovation built to help businesses get online faster and smarter. The live demo by Tebogo Tseka was a real “wow” moment! Seeing how simple and powerful the tool is made me realize how much technology can truly empower people to build and grow their digital presence with confidence.
As the day came to an end, I couldn’t help but feel proud. Proud to be part of a company that not only builds amazing technology but also celebrates people, creativity, and community. For my first tech event, Human Better & Build Faster was everything I could’ve hoped for – insightful, inspiring, and full of heart.
